Business Development Representative

 

We take an inbound approach to sales to match the way people buy today. We're not a hard sell agency. We prioritise quality over quantity. As a salesperson for The Tree Group, you’re all about finding the right leads and helping them with their challenges and goals. You’re applying a modern approach to a traditional industry, Automotive.

This role is suitable for a talented and creative sales person in our growing Business Growth agency that works with Automotive companies and helps them generate sales with vehicle manufacturers, parts resellers, and tuning companies in Automotive, Motorsport, and Defence.

The role will be responsible for sales activity for The Tree Group plus our clients Outsourced sales activity.

 

Becoming a Business Development Representative at The Tree Group:

As a Business Development Representative, your role is to seek out and engage “good fit” companies through strategic prospecting. To do this you will monitor website leads as well as approach Passive buyers using Proactive prospecting. You will lead with phone calls then follow up using Email and sales automation. You will also use Social media for lead generation. You will use HubSpot CRM to log activity, prioritise your work, find active leads, and report so you find ways to improve.

When connecting with a prospect you will learn about their business challenges to determine whether there is a good fit. When you have identified a qualified lead, your goal is to concisely communicate the value of the product/service and gain interest in a deeper conversation.

You will typically handle 4 accounts. One of those will be sales activity for The Tree Group and the other accounts will be Outsourced sales activity for our clients. Each day you will collaborate with our Commercial director and each client to develop innovative strategies for uncovering new opportunities.

The sales process we follow for all leads is (1) Connect, (2), Explore, (3) Meet, (4) Demo, and (5) Close. You will be responsible for the Connect and Explore stages before handing over leads. For The Tree Group you'll be handing over to our Commercial director. For Outsourced sales you'll be handing over to our client.

 

In this role, you will need to:

  1. Conduct prospecting for The Tree Group and up to three Outsourced sales clients
  2. Develop and implement prospect strategies and plans with our Commercial director and clients
  3. Ensure proper quality and quantity of leads with our Commercial director and clients
  4. Be process driven, be able to follow a process and improve the process
  5. Account manage client accounts with weekly catch-up calls and monthly reviews
  6. Work with our Commercial director on our clients quarterly strategy reviews
  7. Run a Connect call with new leads, some of these will be cold calls based on good fit and research
  8. Conduct Exploratory calls to learn about each lead, define if there's a good fit, and progress to Meeting stage
  9. Become an expert in HubSpot CRM, HubSpot Sales, and Gmail or Outlook

 

What are the role requirements?

  6. Tons of energy, passion, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm
  7. Proof of sales experience using phone, email, CRM, and sales tools
  8. Pass the HubSpot Inbound Sales and HubSpot Sales Software Certification
  9. Complete at least one-week's paid trial at The Tree Group office

Marketing assistant

 

We use HubSpot as our central sales, marketing, and website platform because we take an inbound approach to marketing to match the way people buy today. To work with us you need to be metrics driven, curious about new ways of work, all about attention to detail, and always want to find ways to improve individually and as a team.


This role is suitable for a marketing graduate with one or two years work experience to join our growing Business Growth agency that helps Automotive companies to grow by combining sales, marketing, and websites.

The role will be responsible for marketing activity for The Tree Group plus marketing and sales systems setup work for our clients.

 

In this role, you will need to:

  1. Conduct marketing activity for The Tree Group
  2. Setup of CRM, Sales, and Marketing systems for The Tree Group and our clients
  3. Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans with our Commercial director
  4. Ensure proper quality and quantity of leads are being generated through marketing activity for The Tree Group
  5. Be process driven, be able to create, follow and improve a process
  6. Work with our Commercial director on weekly catch-ups, monthly reviews, and quarterly strategy reviews
  7. Write and publish blog posts, use social media to grow reach and engagement
  8. Create calls to action, landing pages, web forms, thank you pages, emails, and marketing automation workflows
  9. Get involved with events and activity with partners of The Tree Group
  10. Become an expert in HubSpot Marketing

 

What are the role requirements?
