The Tree Group referral programme is open to all; customers, contacts, suppliers, and others that are a good fit for who we are and what we do. The job of business growth, sales, marketing, and websites is complex enough so we like to keep our referral programme simple.

Details about our referral programme

  1. If you refer companies that become clients.
  2. And they subscribe to the services that we deliver in-house for at least 12-months.
  3. You’ll get 5% of the net revenue that we earn from the fixed monthly subscription, for the first 12-months.
  4. Then, you invoice us on a monthly basis and we pay you when we're paid by our customer.

 

What we don't include in the programme

 

  1. One-off work.
  2. Setup work.
  3. Software sales.
  4. Commission that we earn.
  5. Additional work on top of the fixed monthly subscription.
  6. External services delivered by our suppliers.
  7. And, not including companies that we already have in our CRM.

 

 

Here's how you can register a lead

Email the following details to James Walters:

  1. Email
  2. First name
  3. Last name
  4. Company name
  5. Website URL

 

He will then check our CRM and if the company isn't already in our CRM, he'll assign the lead to you to make sure you get your commission if the referral turns into a customer as detailed above. Then you can send a referral email to your contact and copy James Walters. At that point James will take the lead through our sales process to find out their goals and challenges and to see if we can help them.

We follow a detailed sales process that typically takes 2 to 3 months and allows us to learn a lot about each lead, make sure we're right for them, and if all that looks good to have the best chance of working together. For this reason, we only start conversations with companies that are a good fit. Here's what we see as a good fit company:

 

  1. Automotive.
  2. At least 10 staff.
  3. Turnover of at least £3m a year or the desire to grow and invest in business growth.
  4. A product or service that requires a consultative approach to sales.
  5. At least 1 in-house person that's dedicated to sales activity.
  6. At least 1 in-house marketing person.
  7. The decision maker in the company; usually the owner or department head.
  8. Open to new ideas.
  9. Know they’ll need to invest time and budget to grow their business.
  10. See the value of turning their website into a lead generation engine.
  11. Want to be able to track ROI from sales and marketing activity.
  12. Want to find a sustainable way to grow year on year.
