I've used FreeAgent for years as it's an excellent and easy to use accounts package that allows you to submit directly to HMRC and comes with extra features such as Self Assessment (makes it fast and easy to submit my self assessment to HMRC), invoice and chase email automation and accepting payments by Direct Debit and Credit Card.
Getting contact details into FreeAgent has always been a manual process (I hate manual processes...) UNTIL NOW. The cloud sync tool we use has just released it's FreeAgent connection so it's easy to add and update contact details in FreeAgent.
Here's a shot of what our sync setup looks like:
All I do now is update contact details in our HubSpot CRM (using the Gmail/Outlook integration or directly in HubSpot) knowing that the cloud sync tool will automatically update the other systems based on:
- Add a new contact to FreeAgent - When the contacts Lifecycle Stage changes to Customer in HubSpot
- Update a contact in FreeAgent and/or HubSpot - As long as the contact also exists in HubSpot
