HubSpot have done some research to see what technologies HubSpot customers have enabled on their websites.
As you can see above, the majority of HubSpot customers had some sort of technology enabled on their website. The most popular are analytic software, CMS, hosting, email, video and social sharing to name just the top few. Below is a more detailed look into exactly which technologies are the most popular within each section.
What are the Specific Key Technologies used by HubSpot Customers?
Out of the 81% of HubSpot's customers that use analytics technologies, a massive 98% use Google Analytics.
Out of the 53% that use an online video platform, 75% of those use YouTube. Demand for video content is growing as younger users prefer this type of content above all other. It's so important your automotive company keeps up with changing content preferences.
29% of HubSpot customers are leveraging ad networks to reach a wider audience. Out of these 68% use Doubleclick and 66% use Google AdWords perspectively. Staying true to inbound marketing, they mainly focus on low-key search ads and social media ads.
Out of 26% of HubSpot customers using retargeting, 71% use Facebook. Using retargeting technology means that you can easily re-engage with customers who viewed specific pages of your website or have left items in their shopping cart. Google Dynamic Remarketing and Google Remarketing were also popular.
Support and Live Chat
With only 12% of the test group using live chats and 9% using support and feedback technologies, here is an area where your automotive company could really stand out from the crowd.
Zopim was the most popular, but the majority of sites used lesser known live chat tools. This means there is plenty of choice out there for you.
The most popular support technology was Zendesk with 44% of the users preferring this tool. Looking at previous HubSpot research, good customer service was considered very important for customers so this is most definitely an area where your automotive company could look to improve.
There was a shockingly small amount of websites offering online payment, just 4% in fact. Both you and your buyers want payment to happen in an easy and seamless way. Offering online payment if possible would encourage any potential buyers.
Paypal was the most popular tool with 33% and Stripe a close second with 21%.
Growing your Business
All these technologies are designed to help your automotive company grow and be successful. Have a good look into the technologies outlined above and see which ones you could add to your website to not only encourage your customers to buy your products and services, but to maintain a long and fruitful relationship with current customers.
